24Hrs’ “Not Open Late” EP Review

With his full length debut album Open Late on the way, rapper 24hrs released a 5 track EP titled Not Open Late. 24hrs has a wavy sound that gives a new voice to ATL. Formally known as Royce Rizzy, a new name signifies new things to come. Get ready for 24hrs.

Boasting a solidly produced 5 track EP, 24hrs also has some nice features. VSVSVS is a standout track and it was produced by Nard & B, the same duo that made Migos’ T-Shirt. Not to mention, a surprise feature from Rick Ross. Great timing considering the huge success of The Boss’s new album Rather You Than Me. Another track that shines is titled Turn Me Down. Its a smooth club track produced by DJ Mustard and features PnB Rock and MadeInTYO. In case it wasn’t known, MadeInTYO is 24hrs actual brother.

A DatWAV favorite is Ring My Line. It’s produced by James Royo who also produced the last song on the EP titled Like That. The song features fellow ATL rapper/singer Salma Slims.
