Cardi B’s “Invasion of Privacy” Album Solidifies Her As The New Queen of Hip-Hop

Cardi B released her first studio album titled Invasion Of Privacy. With the success of Bodak Yellow, her album was immediately eligible to be certified Gold. Billboard projects it to debut at Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 200. If she accomplishes this, she will only be the 5th female rapper to do so (Nicki Minaj, Eve, Foxy Brown, Lauryn Hill).

The production on this album is created by an all star lineup. Atlantic Records really reached out to the best out right now. There is production from huge names like Murda Beatz, Boi-1da, Cassius Jay, and 808 Mafia’s Nonstop Da Hitman. DJ Mustard also produced a YG assisted track titled She Bad.

The album had three singles with Be Careful as the latest one released in the last week of March. The first two were the record breaking (5x Platinum) Bodak Yellow and the 21 Savage assisted track Bartier Cardi (also Platinum). Other features include Migos, Chance The Rapper, Kehlani, SZA, and the previously mentioned YG. Drip featuring Migos is definitely a fan favorite.

Cardi B won Best New Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards last month. With her success, the album will most likely go platinum at some time. Listen to the album yourself below:
