Kanye West’s “Ye” Commands Attention Even Through Controversy

“Slavery was a choice,” is the latest unpopular opinion of the king of controversy, Kanye West. Since then, he’s been caught in the crossfire of the latest Drake vs. Pusha T beef after being the executive producer of Push’s most recent album Daytona, containing shots at Drizzy. Don’t let any of that drama distract you from his new album release that some fans are calling his best work & a masterpiece.

Upon relocating in Wyoming after his mental breakthrough, Yeezy held a listening party for his new, 7 song, self-titled album, Ye, during a bonfire in the Rocky Mountains. It looked like everyone that’s anyone, excluding Drake, was in attendance including, Lil’ Yachty, Scott Disick, Nas, 2 Chains, Jonah Hill, Chris Rock and more. According to his wife, Kim Kardashian, Ye took a picture of the scenery on the way to the gathering, wrote “I hate being bi-polar it’s awesome” and used that as his official album cover. That wasn’t the only last minute change by Kanye as Ye was originally titled “Love Everyone”. Check out his 8th studio album below.
