Kodak Black Sentenced To Nearly A Year In County Jail Though He Could Be Out In A Month

Pompano Beach rapper Kodak Black has been facing legal troubles within the past year and was recently facing 8 years in prison. Though the 19-year-old artist is catching a break and was let off easy receiving a nearly one year sentence for violating house arrest. Reporter Todd Tongen stated on Twitter prior to the hearing Kodak fired two of his lawyers.

Kodak’s new attorney Brad Cohen would make comments towards the rapper saying he was a good kid, a nice kid, that treated everyone well. The lawyer even referenced Kodak bonding out two other inmates. He would further stated that the allegations in the police documents were “one sided” and Kodak was not a danger to the community.

However, even though Kodak was sentenced to 364 days in jail he could be out within a month if he completes a Life Skills Course while on lock down.
