Let The Games Begin: Rick Ross Takes Direct Shots At Birdman On “Idols Become Rivals”

Rick Ross is prepping to release his Rather You Than Me album on March 17th. He recently released three tracks from the project: Trap Trap Trap featuring Young Thug & Wale, She On My Dick featuring Gucci Mane, & Dead Presidents featuring Future, Jeezy, & Yo Gotti. Now today another track from the album titled Idols Become Rivals featuring a 30 second Chris Rock intro has made its way online.

On the track Rick Ross takes direct shots at Cash Money CEO Birdman. Ross raps lines such as, “You would give us self-esteem and motivate our drive/But was in our pocket by the time we count to five/I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne/His entire life he gave you what that was the game/I watched that whole debacle so I’m part to blame/Last request: can all producers please get paid.”

He also mentions situations and burned bridges between Birdman and producer such as DJ Khaled, Mannie Fresh, & Scott Storch. Listen to the track below:
