Lil Wayne settled his lawsuit with Cash Money over unpaid royalties earlier this month. Now that Wayne is finally free of royalty troubles, he is prepping to release his highly anticipated Tha Carter V album. Many are still questioning what came out of the settle, there is even talk that Wayne may still be signed to Cash Money. Though, according to the rapper’s lawyer he is happy with the outcome and now owns the rights to his music, assets, and likeness.
Now in a new development Wayne has revealed that a meeting has been held for the release date of Tha Carter V. Wayne would break the news at a performance in Miami. “Just to let yall know, I had a meeting today. It wasn’t a long meeting, the meeting was about the release date of Tha Carter f*ckin Five!”
