With artists like Lil’ Uzi Vert and 6ix9ine commanding rap’s attention, Pusha T’s new album Daytona is a breath of fresh air to true hip hop fans. Kanye West worked with Pusha as the executive producer of the 7 track project and is Yeezy’s first project since being settled in Wyoming, with more on the way from him and his camp, G.O.O.D. Music.
Daytona is only 20 minutes long but is packed with content including features from Kanye and Rick Ross as well as shots fired at Drake from Pusha, stemming from an ongoing beef that has developed over the years. Kanye felt so passionate about this album that he spent $85,000 to have a throwback picture of Whitney Houston’s 2006 drug littered bathroom as cover art to make it complete.
