Migos are gearing up to drop off their third studio album with the highly anticipated release of Culture 2 and the date is set for January 26th. The Atlanta trio are now off to a media tour, getting in promo mode for the project, first stopping by Beats1 for an exclusive interview with Ebro Darden.
In the newly released interview the rap group would open up and be a little more expressive than normal (it’s known these guys aren’t very fond of interviews – ask Joe Budden). They would talk singles MotorSport and Stir Fry, Joe Budden, their rise in the rap game, & much more. Quavo would even give his 2 cents on a long time debate and reveal he thinks that Takeoff is the best rapper in Migos.
The conversation would start (around the 15 minute mark) with Ebro telling Takeoff he ‘figured out his voice’. Quavo would ad-lib the conversation saying, “My boy Take been spitting bars. To me he the best one in the group.” Offset would follow up Quavo’s statement saying, “Most of the North Side, soon as we see our people from the North that’s the first thing they say, they say Takeoff.” Quavo would further reveal that he’d like to produce a Takeoff solo album, we think that would be pretty dope.
