Travon McIntyre aka Tay-K 47 went viral this Summer after he released a track packaged with a music video titled The Race which has managed to rack up over 62,000,000 views on Youtube. If you’ve been living under a rock and are unfamiliar with the story here’s the kicker – the track and visual was created while the Texas rapper was on the run for capital murder.
The 17-year-old who’s currently locked up for unrelated aggravated robbery and murder charges in Tarrant County has now been charged with yet another murder in San Antonio.
The murder case that Tay-K is currently a suspect in occurred on April 23rd at a San Antonio Chick-Fil-A on the North Side of the city at 27 Northeast Loop 410. According to the police report which was obtained by mySA.com, witnesses seen three people arguing in the back of a black SUV on the Loop 410 access road and someone in the front seat pointed a gun at the victim, who was identified as 23-year-old Mark Anthony Saldivar.
The 23-year-old man would get out of the SUV and yell for help. He would continue to stand in front of the vehicle before it accelerated toward him. This would cause Saldivar to hold onto the SUV as it swerved back and forward. Afterwards he would jump on top of the SUV and proceed to start kicking the windshield after it pulled into the Chick-Fil-A parking lot.
Someone would get out of the front passenger seat and kill Saldivar with one fatal shot. The four suspects in the car, one of them being identified as Tay-K 47, would proceed to drive away from the scene as Saldivar’s dead body laid in the Chick-Fil-A parking lot.
