Rappers Are At Jay-Z’s Neck Over His “Money Phone” Line (Boosie Badazz, Future, Ralo, & More)

Even at nearly 50 years of age Jay-Z can still release a project to send the Hip-Hop world into a frenzy. The Roc Nation CEO has done just that with his 4:44 album. On Jay’s Story Of O.J. he recites a line that states, “You on the gram holding money to your ear, there’s a disconnect we don’t call that money over here.” The line refers to the popular money phone pose made popular by various rap artist such as Fetty Wap, French Montana, Meek Mill, & others.

Many have responded to the line including Boosie Badazz, Future, Ralo, & Big Bank Black.

Boosie would state in a video clip, “If you’re trying to get JAY-Z money, you shouldn’t put stacks to your ear. JAY-Z don’t tell me what to do. I don’t know about you but he doesn’t tell me what to do.” He would continue by saying, “If Jay-Z tell you jump off the Eiffel Tower, you going to jump? Jay-Z don’t run the South! I’m still holding money to my ear.”

Future (who Jay-Z took a shot at on 4:44) would add his two cents taking to Snapchat posting a picture holding large stacks of money to his ear with the caption, “U ain’t got the juice like that. MOOD.”

Ralo would also make a statement via Instagram with his own money phone picture. The Fam Goon rapper would tell Jay-Z he was sorry but the only reason he makes post as such because ‘he never had sh*t’. He would conclude by saying that his fans say it’s motivation. Big Bank would post a video stating, “Right now you’re witnessing a bad b*tch dream and a b*tch n*gga nightmare. F*ck that sh*t Jay-Z talking about where I’m from we show that sh*t,” all whilst flashing a large stack of cash. Check out the post below:
