Throwback Thursday: Stream Mac Of No Limit’s Sophomore Album “Shell Shocked”

MacShellShockedOn this day in hip-hop, July 21st, New Orleans born No Limit artist Mac released his sophomore album Shell Shocked in 1998 under a joint deal of No Limit & Priority Records. The project would go on to have moderate success & sell 400,000 copies across the country. The 22-track album included features from Master P, Mia X, Silkk The Shocker, C-Murder, Fiend, Snoop Dogg, Mr. Magic, & more along with being produced by Beats By The Pound almost in its entirety.

On September 21st in 2001 Mac was sentenced to 30 years in prison on a manslaughter charge due to the death of 22 year old Barron C. Victor Jr. Mac still to this day states that he’s innocent and was wrongly convicted. He & his team of lawyers are working to appeal the sentence, the streets hope & pray for his return one day.
