Unreleased 2011 Kevin Durant & Lebron James ‘It Ain’t Easy’ Collab Track Surfaces

2011 was the year of the NBA Lockout. It would mark the fourth time a NBA Lockout would occurred in the history of the league. The lockout which started July 1st would last 161 days ending December 8th. So we know what you’re probably thinking (or maybe not); what did the players do while they couldn’t ball? Well, we can’t answer that question for everybody but we know that Kevin Durant and Lebron James locked in the studio during their down time.

A 2011 collaboration with James and Durant has surfaced via Soundcloud and it’s titled It Ain’t Easy. “I got the money, but that’s the root of all evil. I stayed the same, but it’s changing all the wrong people,” Kevin Durant raps on the smooth tune. The now Golden State Warrior even drops a spicy bar saying, “Every hater all the same, I feelin’ like the world is Skip Bayless and I’m LeBron James.” Lebron James follows up with a simple verse sounding some what reminiscent of You Can’t Stop The Reign Era Shaquille Oneal.
