Waka Flocka Calls It Quits For ‘Veganism’, Compares Vegans To Police

Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka recently sat down for a chat with Paper Mag. During the interview he would discuss his career including speaking on singles such as Oh Lets Do ItNo Hands, and Hard In The Paint.

It’s publicized that within recent years the rapper made some lifestyle changes within his diet, switching to going vegan because according to Flocka he was ‘fat as f*ck’. He even had a PETA sit down with Russell Simmons and Mya talking about the benefits of having a healthy lifestyle and plant based diet. Though, in the new interview with Paper Mag he would reveal that he’s done with being vegan.

When asked about his diet Flocka would state, “I dropped the vegan card.” He would explain that it was the public perception of vegans conditioned him to believe everything vegan was healthy. He would state, “I’m at a battle with myself right now when it comes to this. What I call myself now is a conscious eater, meaning I’m conscious about the things I put in my mouth and about the things I drink. I think saying that I’m a vegan is like putting a title on me. I’m making myself sound like I’m better than somebody else. If I’m saying I’m vegan and you’re not vegan, what does that make you? A sloppy motherf*cker? It f*cks with me,” he would continue.

Waka would even go on to compare vegans to the police, saying people are worried when they’re around. “They scare people, and shit like people are really scared of vegans. When vegans are around, people be trying to throw their food under the table, like oh, the vegans.”
