Chicago rapper Lil Durk had an amazing 2020. The 28-year-old rapper featured on Drake’s hit single Laugh Now Cry Later which reached #1 on Billboard, featured on Pooh Shiesty’s Back In Blood which has peaked at #10, and released his sixth studio album with The Voice giving him his first #1 on R&B/Hip-Hop Albums Charts. He also released a mixtape titled Just Cause Yall Waited 2.
Coming off of a monumental year Lil Durk is looking to keep the ball rolling with his first announced project of 2021 Loyal Bros. The album will be a collaboration with his OTF members and is set to release this week on February 26.
Being that Durk has put in work over the years and appears to be reaching his peak, he’s now feeling like he has earned a big spot in the talk of Chicago rappers. Lil Durk would make a bold statement on Instagram signifying himself as the HOV of The Chi. He would post a picture and caption it, “Durkio I’m the Chicago Jay-Z.”
